ReConnect Marriage Retreat 2026

Kingwood will host a ReConnect Weekend Marriage Retreat on Friday, January 9 (6-9 p.m.), and Saturday, January 10 (8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.) in the auditorium. The ReConnect Weekend is designed to bring couples closer together by focusing their attention on their relationship spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It is led by Owen and Lauren Mitchell, who have been working with the Marriage Dynamics Institute in Franklin, TN, since 1998. The cost is $35 per couple and helps offset the speakers, printing materials, snacks, childcare, etc.

We will care for one another with love by identifying and meeting our needs as individuals living in a fallen world. We will share the incredible saving Gospel of Jesus, the grace and forgiveness it brings, and the joy of salvation we live each day! We will prepare for service and devotion to our Lord as we equip one another to live faithfully as disciples of Jesus! We will declare our adoration and praise of our Creator and Redeemer through our worship as the family of Christ.
